Release Kanu to avoid bloodshed in Yoruba land — Prophet Akiode Olusegun warns
Senior Pastor, Divine Army Ministries International, Prophet Akiode Olusegun, has warned against the continued incarceration of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra,(IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, saying the consequences could be grave.
The Prophet stated this at a media briefing on his 2024 prophecy which he titled ‘‘Nigeria: Land of Prospects and Envy-2024 in Retrospect’’.
The Prophet further warned that Kanu must not be silenced the way Chief Abiola was wasted because this would bring an orgy of death and pandemonium to Yoruba land which he said was what some people wanted.
‘‘There is a clever move by some powerful Nigerians to block the release of chief Kanu. The most skillful of them is a Northern politician, extremely intelligent and very powerful man who is not presently happy with President Bola Tinubu. Asiwaju is cool and wise.
On what could be done to avoid the bloodshed, Olusegun said Kanu should be released latest by next Easter or his current location and all security details around him should be changed to give him maximum protection.

On the economy, he said seven months is too short in the live of any Government to begin to witness positive changes because things have gone from bad to worse before this Government came on board,
He, however, assured that that by June 2024, the Government will begin to record signs of breakthrough because the master key of Nigeria was placed in President Tinubu’s hand by the heavens.
Kaduna South: Senator Katung installs solar powered street lights in college of education but to achieve that, he said the Government should have close ties with India in order to bring back Indian companies that have eclipsed from Nigeria.
‘‘This Will open doors because Nigeria is likened to the Indian Government by the heavens. The Lord ask me to caution the President Tinubu about the Arabs who feel Nigeria is a filthy and wealthy nation and very perfidious and must be brutally submitted as a slave.
I saw the hosts of heaven come down to axe the enemies of Nigeria. The Tinubu Government will prevail and succeed. The United States will try to drown President Tinubu by subtle schemes that will drown him personally because he is determined to bring Nigeria out of poverty.
This government must feed the primary and secondary school pupils in government school once a day to make this government have heavenly pity and support says the Lord,’’.
On what Nigeria needs to do to come out of this age long confusion, Prohpet Olusegun said Almond trees should be planted all over Nigeria because it is the tree of prosperity ruling over Lagos in 60s and 70s but drying out of Nigeria now.
In the North, Dongoyaro trees should be replanted. The Government of Lagos albeit the Federal Government must release 50,000 white dove or pigeon to bring down the heavenly dove to eat the beast and the serpent and the ravenous beast attacking the future of our youth and fatherland,’’. (Daily Sun)

Police officer who said Obi, Igbo man can never be president arrested, in trouble
The Police Command in Lagos State has identified the police inspector seen in a viral video making inappropriate remarks while travelling in public transport.
The command also said it had begun disciplinary proceedings against the officer in line with the established regulations of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Abimbola Adebisi, disclosed this in a statement on Friday in Lagos.
Adebisi said the command was committed to transparency and accountability and would not condone conduct capable of bringing the NPF into disrepute.
She said the statements made by the inspector were made in his personal capacity and did not represent the position, views or official disposition of the command or the NPF.

The PPRO said the Commissioner of Police (CP) in the state, Mr Fatai Tijani, reiterated the need for professionalism, civility and discipline among personnel.
“CP Tijani reiterates that all personnel are expected to maintain professionalism, civility, discipline and respect for members of the public at all times.
“He said wearing the police uniform came with the responsibility to uphold the integrity and reputation of the NPF.
“The CP warned that the command would not condone any conduct capable of bringing the Force into disrepute or undermining public confidence in the police.
“He reaffirmed the command’s commitment to accountability and maintaining professional standards among its personnel,” Adebisi said.
The spokesperson said the command remained committed to transparency, accountability and policing with humility and integrity.
In a viral video circulating on social media, the inspector was seen and heard making political and ethnic remarks about former Anambra governor and presidential candidate, Peter Obi, while aboard a public transport.
The Inspector was also heard making claims about Obi’s suitability for the presidency and alleging that he was a criminal and a “Yahoo” person.
He further suggested that President Bola Tinubu would use his financial resources to defeat Obi in an election, while claiming that an Igbo man could not become president of Nigeria. (NAN)
