The real results of weekend’s senatorial and State Assembly results for Orsumenyi Ward 2 and other places have gradually started surfacing  with serious discrepancies.

The emerging results showed Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, (aka Ikukuoma) -the APC Governorship candidate for the coming Nov 8, 2025 poll won convincingly in virtually all polling booths.

This, according to APC and Ukachukwu “was despite all the Anambra State government’s shenanigans to make the world believe that the ‘people’s Prince’ lost in his Ward.

“Unfortunately, not minding the alleged invasion of the polling unit and rewriting of results at Orsumenyi Ward 1 by a platoon of men that accompanied the State’s Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachukwu Gilbert Ibezim, and subsequently fierce efforts to manipulate and change that of Orsumenyi Ward 2 at the Local Government collation centre, Ukpor which was openly resisted by INEC and party officials and agents, it remained a herculean task.

“This stoic posture of these officials and agents made it impossible for anyone from anywhere to defeat Ukachukwu in his Ward -Orsumenyi Ward 2.

“His sweeping victory here, which has literally become traditional clearly stared the ruling APGA in the face when, according to them they came to overwhelm Orsumenyi people, but the Orsumenyi youths resisted every of their moves vehemently.

“It’s a very well known aspect of our electoral jurisprudence that it’s an offence for anyone, no matter how highly placed to veer off his community into another persons community on an election day sauntering like a dictatorial emperor of the medieval era from polling unit to another molesting and intimidating the natives with his very ill-mannered armed men as did the Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr Ibezim in Orsumenyi on August 16, 2025.

“His band of foul mouthed armed men readily shoot indiscriminately while snatching ballot boxes as their emperor gives the orders.”

Addressing a Press Conference at APC headquarters in Awka, Prince Ukachukwu and the APC State chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, wondered “what was on the mind of Gov Charles Soludo when he chose to order the invasion of Orsumenyi, the country home of Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma) on Aug 16,2025.
This, to say the least, is clearly the height of political provocation.

The two key politicians disclosed that their discreet investigations revealed that reason why 18 journalists were harassed, beaten up and detained under gunpoint was to prevent them from reporting to the world the massive fraud they saw.

This included assault and arrest of perceived vocal opposition party members

“But in all these Ikukuoma maintained cool composure and persevered for his people.
One therefore wonders what was Gov Soludo’s scores in his Isuofia community, Aguata Council in the last general election, and how such figures were generated.

“While we urge our supporters to remain calm, we sincerely urge the INEC and the relevant security agencies, as well as the Presidency to be respectfully mindful of this strange Soludo’s brand of politics as it’s clearly an evil that’s not good for/to anyone now or in future”, the statement emphasized.

The senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, has warned against the activities of members of the Accord Party in Ilesha ahead of the August 15 governorship election in Osun State.

Fadahunsi, who spoke in Yoruba while addressing supporters in Ilesha, said there would be trouble if members of the Accord Party were seen in the area, urging his supporters to come out and vote during the election.He also called on those present to record his statement, while making a remark that suggested his supporters would confront Accord Party members if they encountered them before the election.“If we hear of Accord Party members coming to Ilesha, there will be trouble. We will all come out and vote. Please record me. We are here, and between now and the election, if we see anyone from the Accord Party, we will kill them,” he said.The statement comes amid heightened political activities in Osun State ahead of the governorship election, with political parties intensifying campaigns and mobilisation of supporters across the state.Fadahunsi is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and currently represents Osun East Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

Fadahunsi clarifies comments

However, following intense criticisms of the senator’s threat, Fadahunsi, made a clarification on the intention behind his now-viral ‘Kill Accord’ comment currently circulating in a video on social media.

In the video, Fadahunsi was seen speaking in Yoruba and heard accusing Accord Party members of attacking members of the All Progressives Congress, as he urged the gathering to attack Accord Party supporters in Ilesa.

He was also seen daring those present to record his remarks and share them on social media, while reportedly addressing APC supporters in Ilesa ahead of the August 15, 2026, governorship election.

In a statement by his media office in the state capital on Tuesday, titled ‘Kill Osun Accord with Votes, Not Violence, Senator Fadahunsi Tells APC,’ the senator said his viral comment was “a call on supporters to overwhelmingly reject the Accord Party at the ballot box through lawful, peaceful and democratic means during the August 15 governorship election.”

“For the avoidance of doubt, the Senator’s statement was purely political and metaphorical,” the statement added.

It noted that the comment didn’t portray the lawmaker as an advocate of violence against any member of the public or political party.

Fadahunsi urged the APC supporters to maintain law and order over the course of the election, as he called on security operatives to allow voters to exercise their constitutional rights.

“At no point did Senator Fadahunsi advocate violence, intimidation or any form of physical attack against members or supporters of the Accord Party or any other political party. His consistent position has always been that elections should be decided by the votes of the people and not by force.

“The Senator, therefore, urges political actors, party supporters and the electorate to conduct themselves peacefully before, during and after the election. He also calls on security agencies to remain professional and ensure that every eligible voter is able to exercise their constitutional right without fear or intimidation.

“Senator Fadahunsi remains committed to democratic values, issue-based campaigns and a credible electoral process. He believes that the will of the people, freely expressed through the ballot, must always prevail.

“We, therefore, appeal to members of the public not to misinterpret or deliberately distort the Senator’s comments, as they were clearly intended to encourage electoral victory through the power of the ballot and not through violence,” the statement concluded.

In a related development, the campaign council of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke had called on the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, to investigate and take appropriate action over Fadahunsi’s comment against members of the Accord Party.

Accord Party governorship candidate in the Osun State governorship election, Ademola Adeleke, has declared that he is not intimidated by the alleged support of the Federal Government and some state governors for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate.

Adeleke described himself as a “bulldozer”, saying he was prepared to face what he described as federal might and the influence of governors backing his opponent.

The governor stated this on Tuesday during the Arise Townhall Meeting, where he also said he was not afraid of the governors supporting the APC candidate.

“I am a bulldozer. I am talk and do. I am not afraid of federal might and governors backing the APC candidate. If they like, they should bring all the governors,” Adeleke said.

He said the governors were his friends and expressed confidence that their presence in Osun would not determine the outcome of the election.

“Those governors are my friends. I am a civilised administrator. They won’t vote; they can only come and dance, and after the election, we will meet,” he said.

Adeleke also rejected allegations that his administration had militarised Osun State, saying he lacked the authority to deploy the armed forces.

“I did not militarise Osun. I have no such capacity. I am not the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces,” he said.

The governor’s comments came amid heightened political activities ahead of the Osun governorship election, with the major political parties intensifying their campaigns and mobilisation across the state.

Tinubu’s re-election: Uzodinma, Umahi don’t speak for Ndigbo — Igbo Community in FC

Ahead the 2027 Presidential election, the leadership of the Igbo Community Association (ICA) the umbrella socio-cultural organization in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) strongly refutes and rejects the recent statements made by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Minister of Works David Umahi, and Senate Deputy Chief Whip Onyekachi Nwebonyi claiming that the South-East electorate is fully united behind President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.

President General of the Igbo ethnic body, Nze Engr. Ikenna Ellis-Ezenekwe stated in a press Statement on Monday emphatically stated that the three of them are neither spokespersons of Igbos in the FCT. He added that, “these three are merely being sent out to talk for Tinubu against the interest of Igbos. The South-East considers the Tinubu administration as a failed administration and for this reason will not vote Tinubu.”

The ICA President noted for the avoidance of doubt, that it wishes to set the record straight for the public and the political establishment that the mandate to speak for the Igbo People neither lie in the hand of Governor Hope Uzodimma, Minister David Umahi, nor Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi who under Tinubu arrogate to themselves as the spokespersons for the Igbo ethnic group.

Nze Ikenna Ellis-Ezenekwe, further agued that elected political appointees and ruling-party actors do not hold a mandate to declare a political consensus on behalf of millions of Igbo citizens.

The statement reads further, “These endorsements represent the personal political preservation strategies of a few office holders seeking to retain favor with the presidency. They do not reflect the true political stance, socio-economic realities, or grassroots sentiment of the South-East region.

“The grassroots population across the South-East considers the current federal administration to have failed on key economic and administrative metrics.

“The assertion that President Tinubu will sweep all five South-East states in 2027 is completely detached from the prevailing conditions on the ground.”

Meanwhile, The Igbo Community Association (ICA) FCT urges public officials from the South-East to focus on their constitutional duties, governance, and the immediate economic needs of their constituents, rather than attempting to trade away the political sovereignty of the Igbo electorate for personal leverage.
